it is remarkable that a 44 year-old man can continue to compete at the highest levels with these young men. hes a warrior of high order. im sorry that doesnt impress you at all, but i can understand that you think fighting is dumb.

The Griffin Bonner fight is my favorite fight of all time

And I agree, BOTH Crocop/Silva fights were incredible as was the first Griffin/Bonnar fight. Like Couture once said, MMA is like kinetic chess. There's absolutely no sport more exciting to me. I was hooked from UFC 1. I remember Randy's first appearance and became a fan of his when he took Vitor apart in the early days.

....some kids got so used to being the "punks" or the "goths" or the "freaks" in highschool, that they just held onto their grudge against jocks and people who participate in sports forever and ever. now they still refuse to grow up and still make fun of anything that has to do with athletics, thinking that they're getting one up against the jocks like it's a bad 80s movie about punk rockers or nerds.

.....so that's why you get these kids who don't know anything about MMA and make homophobic comments about it being gay.

i get goose bumps just thinking about that fight. they beat the fuck out of each other like only middle-weight guys can, and neither one would go down. tough. it was one of the best fights ive ever seen. it must have been very difficult to pick a winner. im from abq, went to unm. what part of the city do you live in?
