The Vacancies are a punk rock maelstrom. Singing about fear, pain and survival, their sound is a mix of Hot Water Music and the Dead Kennedys. The band -- Billy Crooked (vocals), Michael James (guitar), Bo (bass), Dave Long (guitar), Kevin Hopkins (drums) -- formed in 1999 and is made up of five guys between 21 and 34-years-old who grew up listening to the Clash.
