Board Games circa 1980-89

So what are your favorite boards games from the last decade before the internet?

Mine are Fireball Island and Dungeon

You know, I played Candyland a couple of years back. Never had so much fun craving candy.

Crossfire. Nothing like a game that can put your eye out.

ohhh i always wanted Girl Talk, but my mom bought me Candy Land instead thats why i turned out so fucked up!

This game got ridiculously violent when my friend and I used to play it, it was tons of fine.

The ultimate slumber party favourite... Clue! (I was the coolest because I had the "new" version with the pretty cards and rooms with furniture).

Hungry Hungry Hippos were great.
Mouse trap I played once or twice and after that I just really played with the mouse trap itself. The chain of events amused me and I would always try and launch the guy of the platform as hard as I could.
Operation was cool but damn that buzzing noize.
Crossfire was for kids on crack but was fun.
Ohhhh; there were so many. I had this one with a volcano I dug a lot but can't remeber the name.

Wait, wait, wait, wait, wait. There was a time before the inernet? And you guys remember it? I mean, I know, in that way you can know something and not truly believe it (like, I am not the most important man on Earth, or George W Bush is President) that there was a time before the internet, but damned if I can recall what any of that was like. I can't even fathom the fact that people used to know how to find information by talking to other people. It's weird.

as a kid i used to bash the rest of my familiy's skulls in at trivial pursuit. then they got the baby boomer edition. old fuckers.

and monopoly, of course. i always went broke in that fuckin' game. no wonder i'm so bad with money.
