Those who grew up in Oregon in the '70s might remember the popular Dont Californicate Oregon bumper sticker that made its way onto every VW bus around town. And for younger generations, no one can forget the infectious Red Hot Chili Peppers album Californication and song of the same title that took radio waves by storm in 1999. But tonight, it is all about Showtime's sexy new show "Californication" and on this week's episode, one of the characters is revealed to be a SuicideGirl.
In "Californication" DaniCA is a secretary by day, and a SuicideGirl by night. The program stars David Duchovny, Rachel, and many wonderful pairs of bare boobies.
I shot Rachel for her character's set, which will be featured exclusively on the program but here are a few samples from the set to tide you over:
To see more of Rachel, check out the show when it airs after "Weeds" at 10:30 PM. Rachel couldn't have been more down to earth and fun and it was a pleasure to shoot a set for her. If you enjoy the show, leave her character a message in her blog.
As an added bonus, later tonight on Showtime you can watch the SuicideGirls' First Tour DVD.

new in the shop: temporary tattoos and clip-on piercings!
at least the site's getting decent representation.
Indeed. It's a good show so far. As long as they don't start portraying her as some kind of fucked-up or drug-addled or attention-desperate idiot (or some other obvious stereotype about SGs and/or tattooed women), I'm happy.
this growing amount of sg exposure is making it harder for me to wear my sg swag at work without people knowing what it is. but despite that i say kudos to sg for bringing it to the masses.
you had me at Duchovny, but i'm officially loving the mindfuck created by having a character from a tv show manifest itself in a community online. it smacks of early ARG experiments.
I have got to say she was hot as a suicide girl, it would be great if we could see the whole set up on the site. I thought it was a lil weird when he just when to the link and made a couple clicks and the pictures popped up, like Cassiel said he must have already been a member. Great job ladies on the exposure, keep up the great work.
Showtime has everything good. It has Dexter and now Duchovny's new project. And as we learned from the X-Files, everything with him in it is gold.
It is pretty interesting seeing SG really get major exposure in the outside world, though. It's been happening more and more but it's still kind of shocking to me that the douchebag Christian right hasn't been picketing it yet. I'm sure it's just a matter of time.
