Allright guys and girls, who is your favorite author and/or genre?

Mine's Melanie Rawn and sci fi/fantasy genre. She writes some of the strongest most realistic characters i've encountered in the fantasy/sci fi genre couple with political intrigue and machinations that are quite complex and believable. Additionally, the landscapes and imagery she paints is so vivid that the pages come to life and the characters feel genuine to the reader.

I love John Irving and Tom Robbins. They both combine the real and surreal in thoughtful and pleasing ways.

Doubt any of you have ever read any of the recluse books, but he is hands down best fantasy author ever.

the excellence of my authorship is questionable because my sales are lagging...so i take myself off the list until i strike another hot book deal and sell the rights and get more notoriety so you will think my name is cool and then i will be on the list again...
