LEAST FAVORITE COMIC STRIP

Continuing from the previous threads about Comic Strips...

Which one is your least favorite?

Mine is "Mallard Fillmore". It's this duck who's a "news reporter/commentator". His Republican views aside, I hate this comic on the sheer fact that IT'S NOT FUNNY. There is hardly any attempt at humor in that strip at all. It's just angry, sarcastic, bitter rants from an old fart with no comedic skill whatsover.

So what are your least favorites?

Family Circus for being not funny, B.C. for also being not funny, and shoving Christian idealogy down its reader's throats, Blondie for being not funny, Dennis the Menace for having like five jokes in its repertoire, basically almost any comic the Daily Oklahoman (or Daily Disappointment as we call it here) carries except for Dilbert.

Family Circus, B.C. , and Bloom County (it that what it was called, i havent read the comic page in like 8 years)

Family Circus, hands down.
Rose is Rose, I don't get the whole cat thing.

Garfield blows these days...

As does that one about the retarded talking dog and the insipid but nefarious cat... something about being fuzzy.

Family Circus sucks. But I will always have a special hatred for Garfield for the emotional traume Jim Davis caused me as a child.

d00d, Get Fuzzy is the best comic out there, and Rose is Rose isn't that bad, well maybe it is... and Family Circus is so terrible, so hideous, I can't imagine life without it.

But I hate Garfield, and I hate BC and I hate For Better or Worse and I hate... a bunch of others but nearly as bad as those.
NO WAIT!!! CATHY IS THE STUPIDEST SEXIST COMIC EVER!!! I HATE IT!!! WHY CAN"T IT BE COOL LIKE SYLVIA??? OH RIGHT, BECAUSE ITS TERRIBLE!!!!

Yeah, Family Circus sucks some serious ass.

But so do about 90% of them out there. I like Get Fuzzy, Dilbert, and yes, For Better or Worse, and that's about it.

Family Circus is the shittiest comic ever.

Cathy has never been funny. No, wait, there was that one... no, that wasn't funny.

And now we have this one strip in Kansas City called Six Chix. It sucks ass. I don't know if it's anywhere else, or if it's a local effort, but it needs to stop.

Least Favorite of all time is Gasoline Alley - who reads it? I love Get Fuzzy.
And Cathy should be arrested for crimes against women.

gasoline alley i forgive only because it seems like it's written by some old man who is hopelessly out of touch with everything in contemporary american life, and it makes me sad.

'rehabilitating mr wiggles' and 'red meat' are two comics that were at one time really, really funny and then became really, really retarded

I think Id was funny maybe at least half a dozen times... which is more than I can say about BC <3

OK so someone's gotta do it and it might as well be me!!!
I'm gonna defend Family Circus. Sure it's stupid and corny and unfunny and overly cutesy but that's kind of the point. It's not trying to be really ironic or even very comedic I don't think. It's more of a comic about kids and for kids I think.
As far as the worst, I have to go with that turd of a comic Baldo. Did the creator not notice that someone had already started making a comic strip identical to his own except that it's a million times funnier and called Zits? Bastard.

Wow, lotsa hate for B.C. here...I actually really liked the early ones. Hart didn't get into the heavy Christian stuff until much later. Ironic, since the characters in the strip are ancient homo sapiens.

I had no idea that Gasoline Alley was still being published. In it's heyday, it was a pretty novel strip, with characters growing up in real time.

I'll have to say Garfield is my least favorite. Never, ever made me laugh.

but i like the family circus', they are witty and nice, like leave it to beaver in a mini van pre soccer mom's nice, yea know, not that much is nice like that any more.

any cartoon in or ever published in the new yorker, they're fucking assholes
