So I guess you do not have to be an A list celebrity to lose your sanity. I'd like to know when do you actually lose it? B list? C list? Since I have no clue who this Terence Howard guy is even after looking him up, I think the answer might be when you get a whiff of celebrity. What is that, D list?

Fibonacci sequence? maybe? that has to do with all of the golden ratio stuff.

I don't think it's Fibonacci... that's used in binomial expansion... god, it's just killing me that I can't remember the determinants for the golden ratio... I think pi is involved somewhere... I just wish that some sort of tool existed where you could type in terms you wanted to learn more about and instantly be shown lots and lots of potential sources of information based on that very query... who knows, maybe Al Gore can invent something for us...

Stitches... all I ask is that you don't make me like it...

I get what you're saying, tho'... I can't remember precisely what it's called - but there's this "golden ration" between height and width that occurs throughout nature... flowers, rainbows, and even what are commonly deemed as attractive facial features... I don't think that applies to me, however, I *really* don't want a woman who has much in common, physically, with myself!!! She'd be a center in teh WNBA... ugh...

I know what you are talking about, and the attractiveness thing I think is measured the same, or similarly to the way they use the golden ratio for facial features.

I would suspect it has more to do with being attracted to the features shared by your mother, which (being your mother) would likely be shared by you.

I think it has to do with infant primary year imprinting.

Howard was a compelling actor in the Showtime show 'Street Time'. I don't really care if he's a fucknut, so long as he is a good actor... at least, up to a point. I don't want to hang out with him, I just want him to do his job. For one thing, I find I mostly able to ignore such celebrity news, unless it involves pictures of hot celebrity women in bikinis. On the other hand, sometimes these people get so bad or so unavoidable that they go past that point for me. For instance, Colin Farrell and Tom Cruise, respectively.

I don't know anything about Terrence Howard... seeing as I do not watch TV and I'm pretty selective about movies. Still, it sounds to me like he's just fucking around with the interviewer. If he isn't, he is totally off his rocker.

While that Olson twin photo is effing creepy, a lot of twins claim to have some kind of mental connection. Even mothers have claimed to have this bond with their children. I don't see what's so crazy about that.

I also fail to see how this article qualifies as news confused

terrence howard while not wildly popular among the "alt" (hate the word but for lack of pigeonholing every genre) community.. he is a very powerful and widely revered actor among the 'urban' community... before hating on him... watch some of his stuff... great actor.. personally on my list of most underrated actors right next to steve buscemi.. sunset part, 4 brothers, hustle and flow, idlewild, dead presidents... all good movies.... not everyones cup of tea but perhaps would make for good rental material on a day of lounging... .

Don't make me kick your ass.
I'll do it.

To add specifics to my original post though, it was shit like, distance between eyes, and ratios of distances between other things and shit like that.

Yeah. I had relations with someone for the first time once and her taint was like twice the length of mine. I was way too grossed out to call her again.

The divine proportion (or the golden ratio) - which is sometimes represented by the Greek letter φ, generally written in English as phi and pronounced "fie - is one of nature's own mysteries, a mystery that was fully unraveled only 10 years ago. 1:1.618 (or, truly, φ = (1 + √5)/2).

Yeah, I'm a geek... but hell, it's interesting.

While proportion plays a role in what and whi we find attractive, it has little to do with why anyone would find people who look like him/her self to be attractive.

Howard actually is a really fantastic actor. I'm genuinely suprised that a lot of people seem not to know who he is.

The study I read about, or saw on TV or whatever was making the point that people find other people with similar facial proportions to their own more attractive. I was just saying that I thought the proportions they used in the study are measured the same way that people measure them when talking about the golden ratio in regards to faces.

According to scientists, symmetry is what makes you attractive.
