So, are they actually using the SG name and they didn't want to pay an ACTUAL SG? I mean, not that all of them would be great actresses, buuuuuuut what the hell?

Looks like Duchovny will be that character.

Meh. That doesn't seem that odd to me. If you have a movie where there's a character who was a Playboy centerfold (and it's a plot point), do you have to cast someone who was actually a Playboy centerfold? That would be...limiting.

I understand the difference between SG and Playboy, I'm not making a direct comparison. But personally I think it's beyond awesome that a writer/producer had a vision for a character and specifically thought "Oh, she's a Suicide Girl" not "oh, she's an alt-porn model" or "she has naked pictures on teh internets".

Maybe......
