Is there one? If someone treats you in such a way that is beyond any realm of comprehension, but it doesn't involve physical abuse, is there any way to justify your reactions-- i.e screaming, threatening to throw belongings in garbage, etc? Sorry to be vague, but if anyone has anything for me, please let me know. thx

It's a stretch but you could potentially argue that it's assault. Battery is the actual act of striking someone. Assault is the "threat/fear inducing" part.

Maybe one of SGs resident legal eagles could add something here.

That's what I was hoping for. And yeah, I'm not the one being threatened-- I am the one doing the threatening because I feel I'm being pushed to the edge-- and have actually gone over it as of now....losing mind completely due to the extreme level of annoyingness that is being thrown at me. I think harassment is all I have to call it, but it could be turned around on me because I've been screaming to get my point across and this person has witnesses. I just cannot take this anymore and am wondering if a person has any rights when they are being treated this way!!

Not sure what legal recourse there is for harassment. But I don't think any witnesses would give a shit about people screaming at one another, people do that all the time.

Is there anyone around to draw up a summoning circle to make the mighty 'Brosa Arise?

But I think more info would be necessary though.

I don't think I have a leg to stand on. It's OK though because things are wrapping up.

I plead temporary insanity due to intolerable circumstances
