NEWS: Medical Marijuana Dispensary Busted, Once Again

there was an episode of entourage on recently that made it look so easy to stroll into one of these places and pick up a sack of bud. it pissed me off, cause i thought it would draw unwanted and mostly untrue attention to the facilities and that something like this would happen. (i am not saying this happened because of a freakin tv show, but portraying these types of facilities so casually seemed really reckless.)

i know, right? what's up with people writing fiction that doesn't apply well to real life nowadays? totally irresponsible.

on topic: yet another case of state's rights meaning only what the federal government wants them to mean.

Simple civics lesson here: federal law trumps state and local law.

I'm not saying the DEA was right in doing this or that it was a good use of their time, money and effort, but a crime's a crime and the people who own and operate these places can't be too surprised when their door gets kicked in.
