Yeah, the US is totally the only place in the world that has fat people.

um, quite famously it has more than many other countries.

and if this applies to your friends it probably also applies to certain areas (that's why there are fatter cities) and then in the big picture, your whole country.

i've had this issue in reverse when i was younger. i worked one summer at this place where everyone was borderline anorexic by the end of the summer. everybody wanted to out skinny each other. the people you see on a daily bases and eat with and chum with make a difference.

we also have more people than most countries.

We're #3.

So we obviously are going to have a more diverse population than a country that is #23 on that list.

Basically we have more fat people because we have more people, cuz there is more of them to count.

Who the hell is paying these scientists to take a piss on their dime? I guess it's nice to know that if I gain 100 pounds suddenly in the next year I'll have someone to blame. I should probably start networking in antcipation just to save time.
