Eh, I don't buy into the beauty pageant look (hence my membership here). No offense to anyone but it seems like every winner is blond, had a ditsy look about her, and has big boobs (or a larger than average chest size). I also don't see what the big deal is with these pictures. She is Ms. NJ for God's sake, it is not like she is trying to be the Pope or the next Mother Teresa. I guess she is supposed to be a role model for young girls so they don't want her doing that. However, the whole point of going to college is to branch out of your normal shell and grow up. You can't go through college without partying a little. Believe me, I have seen people go through high school and college without partying and they turn out to be stuck up, Bible thumping, holier than though assholes. Let the beauty pageant contestants have their fun. After all, they are people too and I think they should be allowed to live their lives.

Remember, our current pope is a former Hitler Youth.

My take on it? It's a publicity stunt. I didn't even know who she was before she voluntarily released these extremely tame pictures of herself to the news.

This reaks of a publicity stunt to draw interest to the upcoming pageants. Rumor has it that if this stunt doesn't work Miss South Dakota will have a "wardrobe malfunction" during the evening gown competition.

This was on in the break room at work today, and it was funny and interesting to see the split among the people up there. About half the people (myself included) were like, "... Is this seriously on television right now? This is national news?" and the other half were like "Oh my god, that's so horrible, I can't believe someone would blackmail her, let's keep watching." It seemed like all the 30-50 year old TV addicted people were glued to the set, while the young people and a few of the really jaded and funny older people were disgusted.
