I actually own Return of Jafar. I couldn't tell you where, but it is somewhere in my house. And I remember being in like 5th grade and being fucking PSYCHED. MUST SEE FILM of the 90s, I thought it was.

Also, I remember getting really high in high school and seeing Toy Story 2 three separate times in the theater. Laughed my ass off for hours. Good sequel. I don't know if I'd ever want to watch it again, but I have very fond memories.

yeah, Disney started to suck when they stopped doing cartoons and started to focus more on CGI.

But Toy Story and the Incredibles are good movies. I kinda even like Finding Nemo. They can make some good CGI movies. If they hadn't given up on cartoon animation though they'd still rock. I think Emperor's New Groove was the last decent cartoon they came out with.

Oh, and additionally:

Dear Disney,
Stop releasing so many goddamn fucking Video Game spin offs of movies.
Love, The World

dear juggernautchild:

please get your pixar movies seperate from your disney movies. up until the buy, disney only released the pixar movies. they were a seperate company.

Dear attn ho:

Please learn to capitalize properly.

Just kidding, but wow, jeez, don't get your nuts in a twist. This shit can get confusing.

its true, my nuts do get twisted. but were not talking about dreamworks vs bluesky, or fox animation or any of the vaugely simiilar 3d ventures out there.

were talking disney and pixar.

pixar is the A list. they have the best movies out, they have excellent branding with that cute lamp, and they are the company that made 3d viable.

disney makes brother bear and home on the range and treasure planet.
oh, and chicken little. baaad movies.

(also, i was just teasing with the addressing you personally... in the theme the article was written in)

Nah man, apparently it's not even worth knowing about. I just got in to an argument today with my dad's girlfriend because she said all "cartoons" are good for is to drop one's kids off at the theater to get them out of your hair for two hours.
mad

No, I understand taste differences. She didn't say "Oh I don't care for it" or "Eh, it's not my taste." I wouldn't have been bothered by that at all.

She straight out bashed the entire medium. Stating that animation is meant for children and there is nothing interesting at all about it to anyone over the age of 8. That she was so mature as a child that she didn't "waste her time with that garbage."

I may be immature, but it's a hellova lot better than being ignorant.

That should be against the law, seriously.

In other news, I hate what disney's done to sequels, but at the same time i understand that it's what evil corporations do.
I've come to expect it, and furthermore, i don't buy the crap they put out.
