Actually, you are not. Sometimes, for whatever reason, when I hit ignore, the function does not work. Thank you for reminding me that I should have you on ignore. I will now do it again.

There is no ivory tower. Some people are morons and don't deserve a moment of my time. Retrobate got that honor very early on here on the message boards. He was actually the first member I ever ignored. Mostly it was due to his gift of making detailed and convincing arguments. I would actually believe him, only to find out later he was completely full of shit. This happened twice, then I removed him from my life.

You, I just ignored because I think you're a tool. Thank you for being a fan of my work. I kind of makes this weird.

Bye.

Believe me, its weird for me too. Remember, this all started because I thought CoolerKing's stuff was easy, hackish humor. YOU'RE the one who got all butt-hurt on his behalf and started this whole mess. Remember that. I had no issue with you before. That said, I can seperate the art from the artist. I can still enjoy your articles, finding them informed and possesing a razor sharp-wit , while finding your writing in this thread to be humorless, arrogant, and completely devoid of any sense of perspective.

Notice I said, "your writing," and not "you." That is because, while you may think I'm a tool, I have no delusions as to who you are in life. I don't know you from Adam, and am in position to claim to know anything about you. I can read your comments and not take it personally becauseI know full well that this little game we're playing has zero bearing on who we are as people. It'll be very interesting to see when you figure that out.

Enjoy your ignore.

Hmmm, "easy" maybe, but "hackish"? My stuff? I'm not sure you're using that word correctly, buddy...

I swear, it may seem like I'm biased because I'm discussing my own work but I'm not. I can honestly say that I am without a doubt the funniest writer on the planet. Ever. Maybe someday they'll create a robot that transforms into a punchline who'll be funnier than me but they're telling me it's years away...

Michael Bay lacks the subtlety to pull it off. It's going to be a big, dumb CGI fest and we're all going to walk out of the theaters wondering if the cartoon we fondly remember was that stupid.

I didn't know that "subtlety" was required to direct a movie about giant robots from outer space that fight eachother. Someone get Eric Rohmer on the phone a.s.a.p. for some reshoots.

I don't think it's Michael Bay's well-established lack of subtlety that'll doom this movie, it's that he won't be over-the-top in any really creative ways.

I don't think he's going to be able to engage us in a story, either through the human characters or giving us any means to relate to those giant robots.

Maybe subtlety is the wrong choice of words, but I would like to see some underpinning of character development and story. When the star of the movie is going to be a bunch of giant CGI robots, I think that takes a certain degree of skill. From Michael Bay, I'm expecting a movie that doesn't even reach for the heights of Ghost Rider.

It is true. You are. Sadly, you are also a terrible comic. Takes more than writing to be a good performer, I'm afraid.
