Well... I'm pretty sure these chemistry students need to brush up on their Law studies a bit. I can't imagine (or even come up with a legal context) how selling this to children can be legal. Not going to happen.

As for dutch drinking laws: you can get wine at dinner from age 12 (provided you are with a parent or guardian) you can get light alcoholic beverages (max 5% I believe) from age 16, and the heavier stuff from 18 onwards.

And why the hell does everyone consider the Dutch weird?

Actually now that i think about it, it's probably for the same reason that everyone here thinks the rest of the world is weird...

NaughtyDevilNote- why do the editors here have to make a joke out of Every subject? I don't find anything funny about this.

I've written enough depressing articles in the last few days I think. Personally I find the idea of 20 year old Dutch kids coming up with their "brilliant business idea" of marketing booze to children through a powdered lime drink, well, pretty funny. As someone else has mentioned in the thread, it's not like their plan will work.

Ditto. And it's just a few 20 year olds. It's not like Dutch parliament is making powdered alcohol the nation's official pre-teen drink or anything.
