Guy knowingly endangers the free world, no charges.

You know, maybe if it was just Italian authorities who told him he couldn't leave Italy, I could see why he'd be a little scared and want to go back to the US. I would find that troubling.

But from what I'm reading it was his own government who contacted him and told him not to fly. He knew this, and took steps to avoid being caught by flying through another country. That does make him look like kind of a douche.

i'm not particularly angry at this guy. he has a extremely dangerous disease that could possibly end his life. why the hell should he care about us? he's probably gonna die. why spend your last days locked up in quarantine to protect some random internationals who could care less if you live or die? because let's face it, nobody here cares if this guy dies. i've heard no sympathy here. he's a newlywed who just found out he has the most dangerous form of TB on what otherwise should have been the happiest day of his life and nobody gives a crap. i ask again, why should he give a crap about us??

not saying i would have made the same choices as the guy, just saying i fully understand his motives.

Fuckbag was perfectly willing to infect HIS WIFE and anyone in Europe and Canada to enjoy his wedding and honeymoon. Maybe SHE gave a crap about him eh ?

I guess I don't know about you, but I would certainly give enough of a crap about my loved ones, him and all the other strangers that I might infect to turn myself in right fuckin away. Even this strain XDR- TB is not necessarily fatal nor is it a fast acting virus. He was never in imminent danger and needed/needs treatment.

Caring so little about the effects of your actions that you are willing to endanger the lives of hundreds of strangers sort of sounds like textbook criminally selfish to me. If there were such a thing.

Perhaps, seeing as he's a personal injury attorney, it may be fitting justice if everyone he potentially exposed filed a class action lawsuit against his dumbass.
