Fucking WaWa......just charged me $4 for a goddam sandwich roll.

I went there because I was pressed for time. I ordered their "Veggie Supreme" sub. When asked what toppings I wanted...I said "lettuce, tomato, onion" when asked if I wanted cheese I said "cheddar".

I just got home and opened my sandwich...to find a fucking sub roll...with lettuce, tomato, onion and cheddar cheese. Where the fuck is the veggie supreme? What if I had ordered a "veggie supreme" with no toppings...would they have wrapped up a dry roll & charged me $4?!

I've ordered a veggie sub at a bunch of other places...and you always get some kind of grilled vegetables....spinach, onions, squash, mushrooms.....SOMETHING.

That's fucking ridiculous. If I wasn't in a hurry, I'd go back and get my fucking money back...but I'm hungry & I'm in a rush....so I'll eat my Ass-Rape Supreme & be miserable.

Fuck you, WaWa.

I agree! I went to get gas at a Wawa mega mart the other day and it was total fucking chaos! There were 90 people waiting for gas and this asswipe in front of me finished pumping his and then proceeded to lean in his car window and talk to his bitch girlfriend while I sat behind him flipping out. He was purposefully being a dick and when I asked to him pull his car up, he told me to "mind my business and stop being disrespectful." Saraphine wanted to fight. His shitty gf got out of the car too and was like "Yeah! Mind your business!" I seriously could have beaten down the two of them based on pure rage alone. I am never getting gas in that accident-waiting-to-happen place again. mad I am lucky I am blessed with a level of maturity that prevents me from going ballistic on assholes like that.

I have an hour to leave the job-site...order lunch, pick it up, eat it and get back to the job site....so I did have 10 minutes to rant while I sat & ate my lunch....I didn't have the time to go back to the WaWa & hassle with the manager.

I don't know what WaWa is.

But the best veggie sub of all time is Quiznos'. Two types of cheese, mushrooms, black olives, onions, lettuce, tomato, guacamole, some type of vinaigrette... plus the optional pickles and peppers from the bar. Get it on a wheat roll. It's HUGE and awesome.

A veggie sandwich should always have avocado. ALWAYS.

I have to admit though, $4 for a sandwich sounds like some kind of unbelievable dream to me. surreal It's probably good I don't visit the mainland more. Cuts down on the price shock.

I do enjoy the fact that I have the option of a meatball sandwich at 4 in the morning any time I like... Not that I ever take advantage of it, but knowing it's there? Priceless.

The only good thing about my occaisional bouts with insomnia is that I'm then awake to bike over to WaWa at 2nd & Lombard for the breakfast sammiches.

It honestly saved me last night, as I had previously tried to battle the insomnia with weed, and had no food in the house.

It's a wonderful store that has a tendency to go overboard and suck.

Right now they are obsessed with selling gas. Also, their parking lots are insanity beyond belief!

Oh yeah, you can't order veggie sandwitches at wawa, they suck. They used to have a 'veggie mix', which was a bunch of gross veggies, pre-cut and bagged, but apparantly, there are more cases of conjoined twins than there are of people ordering veggie subs, cause they stopped having those bags, probably back in 02. That's about the time I started ordering eggplant parm with spinach and onions from the pizza shop. Which are much more yum, anyway.

They had them about halfway through '03 and then just vanished without any explanation to the employees. Generally you'd think that would be a good enough reason to discontinue the entire sandwich, but Wawa always likes operating on the assumption that customers are too stupid to tell the difference.
