From Anne Parillaud in La Femme Nikita to Milla Jovovich as Joan of Arc and now Rie Rasmussen as Angel-A in the film of the same name. After such large scale productions as Arthur and the Invisibles and The Fifth Element, Besson has created Angel-A, a powerful film without fighting or special effects. awesome interview. besson's films are some of the most entertaining, and Leon is one of my favorite... wish they'd've spoken on that one for a bit

Luc Besson is a god. I saw "Angel-A" a few months ago and it's a great film, with wonderful visuals. After the screening Luc and Rie Rasmussen did a Q&A, and they were both completely charming. Rie didn't even speak French before she got the part! She does a wonderful job and is very beautiful.

"Leon" is one of my faves too. With the exception of "The Messenger" , I think Luc's films are so enjoyable and great to look at.
I've enjoyed all his films I've seen. I didn't even know he was directing again as he seemed to stop after The Messenger, which I seem to recall enjoying too... I haven't seen it since I was very young, though.
Nice to know there are a couple more films by him I can watch now.
