Sorry Vegetarians, No More Snickers (or Twix, or Mars, or Milky Way) Bars For You

Yet another reason why vegetarians are more healthy and will surely inherit the Earth when everybody else dies of mad cow disease.
Yay!

And then be eaten alive by animals who don't find a moral dilemma in eating said Vegetarians. wink

All kidding aside, this is fairly gross. That's why, when it comes to candy, I tell people to go Kosher.

OMG...this was reversed. Mars did not go through with it skull skull

It's a sad day, indeed.

Reading comprehension seems to be a problem with people on this thread! surreal

If you bother to read beyond the title, you'd know that Mars was planning to do this in the UK only, not the US. You'd also know that they changed their mind after public outcry. This is an old thread. Stop being outraged by something that did not happen. And by the way if you eat most cheese you are eating rennet so stop being all grossed out by this. You already eat the stuff. tongue

A) The rennet was only in UK-manufactured M&Ms, and has been stopped. If people would read the entire thread before they started to comment, they would know this.

B) If you're thinking about *vegetarianism*, those juices should not present a problem for you. None of that stuff is "meat". Merely animal-based products, something that's mostly an issue for *vegans*.

Latecomers, how about reading previous comments?

You mean "how about reading twenty six pages of thread?" Thanks for the suggestion. Ummm... no, I don't think I'll do that. I go to a lot of AV threads that are eighty, ninety pages long and even on the rare times I've been able to read the whole thing it's so long, I don't necessarly remember every important thing covered in the darned thing. So good for people who don't read twelve thousand threads. As Greg House likes to say, "work smart not hard."smile And haters, let's stop acting so much like an eighties record store clerk who's just been asked when the new Bon Jovi CD is coming out.
