Long Good Friday Remake

Did anyone watch the remake of Get Carter? No is probably the answer.

So how many of you would want to watch a remake of yet another classic British gangster film re-done for the US? Again the answer is probably none of you (if you have any taste).

But it looks like you're going to be given the opportunity to shun yet another pointless remake as that classic British gangster film Long Good Friday gets the Hollywood treatment courtesy of that that outstanding director Paul W S Anderson of Resident evil infamy.

Man, The Long Good Friday is such a great film, but no one here knows about it.

Pitiful. When will Hollywood learn that some movies are so good that any attempt at a remake is just pointless?
