Bonds won't get any pitches to hit. There is no way the Dodgers want a dirty fucking Giant cheater breaking the most hallowed record in the game at Dodger stadium. Bonds needs a little chin music.

He might not even play tonight, accord to their manager. I need to read today's Times...

I guess I'm a filthy racist because I say No. I don't want him to break the record. It's not because I tend to be a purist about the game...it's because I'm a white devil who deosn't like "the coloreds".

If it happens during this series every Giants fan in Dodger stadium better run for their lives. I'm not personally threatening any of them, I'm just warning them.

I will enjoy suing the Dodgers for my injuries.

Actually, it was pretty tame last night. Sure, lots of boos, but only one fight. Some guy in a Bonds jersey (of course). That's pretty abnormal for Dodger Stadium in general, let alone when the a team like the Giants is in town.

I just wish he'd hurry up and do it. In the long run, it's not going to matter anyway since he won't hold the record for that long. Another six years maybe.....seven at the outside and Alex Rodriguez will break it. I'm just completely sick of hearing about Bonds. I hope he breaks it and then retires at the end of the year (or, better yet, as soon as he touches home plate).

Just go away Barry. I realize you didn't technically break any rules. But you still make me sad because you were a first ballot, sure fire, nearly unanimous hall of fame selection and now you're just a joke with a pretty swing and a lot of home runs to your credit.

Bonds is going to break the record. At the time this article was written, he stands at 745 home runs, 10 shy of Aaron's venerated record of 755. At the blistering pace he's hitting taters at right now, he could surpass that mark by mid-June.

Well, I was only a month and a half off.

Hank Aaron is a dude. Barry Bonds will be out throwing batteries at the guy who is chasing his bullshit record through like the use of nanorobot arms or some other impure buckwaas. Hank will always be the man.

Bonds has been pretty vocal about how he's looking forward to watching A-Rod breaking his record in a few years.

Biggio is about to break the career HBP record.

Maybe now ESPN can stop talking about Barry Bonds like he's an impact player on a team that's doing jack shit but being the only loser in a competitive division. Now all it's going to be down the stretch is "WILL THE YANKEES MAKE THE PLAYOFFS?! DEREK JETER ALEX ROD ROGER CLEMENS ROGER CLEMENS DEREK JETER! WILL JOE TORRE GET FIRED? WILL HE LEARN HOW TO HANDLE A PITCHING STAFF?

HEY THERE'S CURT SCHILLING! HE DOESN'T LIKE THE YANKEES, HE LIKES BLOGGING AND VIDEO GAMES. P.S. BLOODY SOCK

THERE AREN'T ANY PLAYERS ON OTHER TEAMS EXCEPT ONES THAT HIT HOMERUNS AND LAY OUT ON PLAYS THEY COULD'VE MADE STANDING UP! AS SUCH, THE PADRES AND DODGERS DON'T EXIST TO US."

ESPN rules, where's my heart attack medicine?

That might have been the single dumbest thing they've ever done. It pained me to see Mike Wilbon, somebody I actually respect, stooping to the level of discussing the "nowness" of Tiger Woods and Matt Leinart.

Actually, Stuart Scott's goofy eye squeaked out Scott Van Pelt's smug "please punch me in the face" demeanor.

The whole contest was rigged, nobody is more now than Sage Steele.

I vote Tony Bruno. That's good knowledge.

Wait, he's not ESPN. Ok, Tony Kornheiser. You cannot defeat the orange-headed, penguin-dancing playah from Long Island.
