At the young age of 29, Ben Templesmith has already become one of the most popular comic book artists working today. Great interview, I really enjoyed reading it. Not only is Ben Templesmith a fantastic artist (and one of my favorites); but he also happens to be one of the coolest people I've had the privilage of meeting.
He did some sketches for me and was kind enough to take this picture with me at the San Diego Comic Con back in 2005 -- He's awesome! smile

Hooray for Perth comic artists!

Ben's a pretty quiet type from what I hear - apparantly I stood next to him at a comic launch here in Perth once and didn't know it till later - sigh, my brush with fame squandered!

He's got 4 times my talent and he's 10 years younger damnit tongue After reading his liejournal for some time though, Ben really does work hard with some near impossible deadlines so I don't envy that. I wish him every continued success.

A great interview and a really interesting guy. He's got one of the strangest minds I've ever encountered smile I think he's kind of shot up to be one of my favourite artists in any medium, and the humour in Fell and Wormwood are just spectacuar.
