in case you guys are wondering i have now converted to only pbr and every once in awhile i like to have a guinness

Haha, just kidding. I don't drink any beer other than Bud because that and LaBatt's are the only one's that I remember that don't have gelatin in them. Of course, I could just go look up the list of non-gelatin beers again, I remember what it is, but it's just easy to remember that the King of Beers is safe for me.

The now-defunct Deli Haus in Kenmore Square, Boston used to have PBR on tap cheap (well, cheap for Boston anyway). Everyone went to Deli Haus after parties/barhopping.

Same here. Only its my southern roots, not midwestern. I remember sweltering summer afternoons spent in my grandfather's garage working on cars and sneaking drinks whenever I could.

Not to mention that at a dollar a can its literally cheaper than water at the Bluegrass Inn in Nashville.

I was talking to my friends the other day about my love for PBR (they all hate it), and I finally realized it must have something to do with me and my friend strealing beer from his dad in highschool, His dad only drank PBR.

I lived on PBR for close two two years. My friends and I kept a keg of it in a fridge in the garage at all times. We just kept rolling over the deposit of the keg and bought a fancy CO2 pump. When I was 18-22, I was somewhat less thrifty (often Henry Weinhard's before it moved from Portland or Portland Brewing Company) but I then realized I liked Pabst just as much and saved money.

you cant get iron city in other parts of the country
when i lived in pa iron city was my beer of choice.

i used to be able to get a pitcher of PBR for $6 in Oakland... enough said.

we always had it at my friends place back home, it was cheap, he didnt drink soda so he always had pabst, we never got drunk off just pabst, i mived here an everyones got their own beer company, an its pricy, fuck that, beer is a casual drink, like water for example, if i wanna get drunk ill buy a few 40s of old E and a half gallon of ancient age
