Bleach is bad. It creates Dioxins, which are carcinogenic in large enough amounts; it can also affect reproduction and sex differentiation and is pretty widely believed to be responsible for deformations in frogs. Here's a li'l blurb about its environmental effects.
If your wife can't chill out, you should use oxygen bleach (which doesn't create dioxins) or hydrochloric acid.
I support the legalization of every drug - recreational or proscribed - EXCEPT antibiotics. Letting more antibiotics into the environment is unbelievably stupid. I get upset when people are given antibiotics by a doctor and then don't take them all like they are supposed to. We really don't need to be helping the world evolve to be better at killing us.
