I liked his news piece about it. Tycho Brahe is a wise man.
Tycho's news piece annoyed me honestly, because he was pretty dismissive about the effort that people were putting into helping Dave Kelly, and it makes me very happy that Tycho has been proven wrong. People complaining on the internet and putting so much effort into getting the story out to as many people as they could has helped build enough steam to actually get an apology and is currently negotiating a settlement of some kind. Check out the Something Awful Thread that has been documenting the whole thing since the beginning.
Sure, the guy isn't going to go broke or lose his company or anything, but at least Dave is going to get something out of it.

Eh, while I agree the tone of his article was kind of dismissive, I think it had a valid point nonetheless. A lot of people seem to think that signing an online petition or making an equally dismissive random post on a page is enough to be part of a cause. Those aren't the people helping Shmorky nearly so much as the ones bringing the complaint to new forums and really making that effort and speaking up. The "putting so much effort" part is the key.
I'm really happy that Shmorky has gotten so much support. He's all kinds of awesome.

That's the thing, though, it wasn't a situation were it was just one guy complaining on a blog like he made it out to be. If it was a situation like that, then I'd agree. But if he was really paying any attention to the situation, he would have saw that there was being more put into it then that.
