a question about 'planetside'

do you have to be an FPS guru to be able to play it? how difficult is it for the novice player?

i think its a bit like tribes, CS, and an FPS in one. It's very team based. I've not tried it myself, but saw it at E3 and know people playing it.

I was a beta tester for it, it does not require any skill to play, but it does require great skill to be good. If your a novice FPS be prepared to die alot at first, till you learn how to use everythign to your advantage. And there ALOT to learn. It can be very overwelming at first

is it all choppy, like other MMOGs

Its better than most. I have very little chop in the beta test, but that was with only 200 people on the server at a time, so I dont know how it is now.
