Studded belts....

Is it just me or are these belts with holes all in em and spikes and stuff being worn by everyone and their grandma? I mean, didn't they originate in the punk community at first, or if not where? And why is it that you can go to the mall and see every Tom, Dick, and whatever the other guys name is wearing one? So, do you wear one?

I wear one, but I sell them in my store. Ours are leather (not the synthetic leather you get at Hot Potty), hand made, and (ahem) imported from England.

i wear i three row i studded myself , can't find a 42" studded belt anywere.

Sooner or later everyone catches on to everything, There is nothing you can do about it except hope that it goes out of style so that you can continue to be happy that only "punks" wear studded belts and have piercings.

I wore a studded belt in High School but I stopped wearing after all my shirts were getting ripped, but I admit I did splurge and buy a new gold studded belt a few months ago.. I mean talk about bling bling...

I have one. Only mine is real leather and not that cheap fake leather you find in the malls and its hand made But I'm more into wearing my Bondage belt...and yes, I've used it for bondage purposes

in the early eighties, studs and spikes were worn by punks and hip-hopers alike. check out brake dancing movies for proof.

"Back in the day" we made our own punk rock belts with studs we bought at the leather store. Last year I bought one at target for $12!

i had the same studded belt forever, until my boyfriend tried to pick me up by the belt and a chunk came off in his fist. i fell to the ground. then laughed histerically. the one i wear now isn't pyramid studs, it's an old one i got from the thrift store with roundish ones. and i have a big fuckin' cowboy beltbuckle. yeeeehaw!

my belt is as far as i can push the uniform dress code at work, so yeah, i wear it a lot.

I bought a dozen studded belts a few months ago. Then I cut them up, rivetted them to a vest, and got into some swordfights. Mmm Leatherarmor.

the deck thing to do is use an old shoelace, or maybe a length of extension cord...
