When was the first time you felt all growed up?

I mean other than bills and stuff.

I guess mine was when I got arrested and had to stay in the 'big boy' holding cell.

ummm, I can't remember, but I assure you I've gotten over that. all growed up is bullshit...

actually, busting up a marriage that needed to be busted up...something I won't go through again. as wonderful as our thing was, I still wouldn't recommend it as a rite of passage.

when my mum bought me my first starter bra

When I got kicked out for not paying rent.

When I shot a man in Reno, just to watch him die.

That, or when I completed toilet training.

hmmm, i still don't, really... though i have had little flashes....

like my first real, all my own, barracks room (what substituted for my first real apartment)....

then, later when M & i adopted our first kitty Pixel. he was the first cat i'd taken in all on my own, in my very own house as my very own house cat.

I work at a grown up's job but I spend all my money on DVDs and video games. I live alone. I got no strings to tie me down...

Oh yeah, and I'm a puppet who one day aspires to be a real boy.

Well I actually make video games for a living, have no debt and no bills (at this moment) and I make just about more money than I know what to do with. Therefore im still young (21) but in some cases I do feel grown up, like when im giving a power point presentation to executives.

when i realized i had a 401k, an IRA, stock options, and an E-trade account.. and the fact that i was really into buying / selling stock...

although i think that also contributed to grow'd up experience #2... having a mid-life crisis @ 18 due to said items... and not knowing wtf is was doing being so serious and grow'd up.

Y'see I started out thinking I might soon feel a bit more grown up... but I'm spending all day making little animated films and getting paid... yes... more money than I know what to do with (hence all the new toys).

But it just didn't work.

First time I told my mother l was NOT going to wear the shitty clothes she chose for me.
Then the first time l disagreed with my parents and they didn't dismiss what l was saying.
When my uncle called me 'boy' and I thought, 'hmm, l've been engaged and had more pussy than you ever will have you fat fuck...'
The first time l stayed out all night and, not quite watched sunrise, but noticed it was getting lighter.
