I just got back from seeing this heap of ridiculously violent and profanity super loaded tripe. The respect for human life was nowhere to be found in this movie. Don't get me wrong, the first one wasn't that bad, but this was just so not good. Of course, that's an opinion.

Two things;
A) I'm not surprised
B) What's wrong with not having respect for human life?

What the hell did you expect from Bruckheimer and Bay? I mean, they're the same asswads who brought you "Armageddon", for fuck's sake.

Exactly, Satan! I was telling my brother after the movie that Michael Bay should not be allowed to direct movies.....

nothing like a bunch of explosions to make a movie cool.
i wish in real life if you shot a car it would splode like it does in the movies.

No, unfortunately in real life, if you shoot a car they just haul your ass to jail.

Decided to drag this up rather than start a new thread and have some smart-ass respond with a link to this one...
Just been to see it, and I thought it was a great film. I was laughing almost constantly through it, thought the car chases were well done, and most importantly, the chemistry between Martin Lawrence and Will Smith was as strong as the first film.
My favorite scene? If I really had to choose, it would be the scene in the video store and that old woman...

I liked the shootout in the pink house -- the way it was filmed with revolving cameras and, especially, Will Smith's furiously calm, yelling, kill-the-bad-guy-even-if-you die character in that sequence (and others).

Man, I watch every movie as if it was Truffaut.
