I keep hearing tons of different things....but no one can seem to agree.

All I know is that they better have a DAMN good Gambit in the next X-Men.

I've heard talk that Orlando Bloom is being considered (YAY!!!)...also the actor who played Gambit in the cut-out cameo in X2 (James Bamford).

Preferably an unknown, or some slick, again, unknown French actor.

I have just recently scene pirates of the caribbean and orlando bloom put me to sleep, he's perfect for the lord of the rings the same way keanu reeves is perfect for the matrix.

The unknown actor/actress variable is what helped make the original star wars movies great. Im not a strong believer in the "ensemble cast"

Actually, I think it'd be best if they spend some time and get an unknown. Sometimes there just isn't a good match among the pool of already well known actors to play certain characters.

I trust Singer and Co, though. If they come back for the 3rd movie, I trust it'll be all good.

I'd love it to be Orlando Bloom because, frankly, he's really pretty. (And I'm sure that makeup and wardrobe, combined with his considerable acting talent, will make him a convincing Gambit. We've all seen Hugh Jackman's screen test, haven't we?)

But I see Colin Farrell landing the role. I don't know why.
