I also have my nape and I got it the same place that capguncrimespree did. Most of all make sure you go to a good piercer and they'll take care of you. Also rinse with salt water twice a day. Even now (8 months later), if I don't wash it enough it starts to feel a little weird. But yeah, if you use tygon for the first few months and are really good about taking care of it you shouldn't have too much of a problem healing it. Mine came out great.

Would a sponge provide enough moisture?

I just went today to get my nape done and found out that I can't be in water (aside from bathing) for 6 months. That SUCKS! couple that with the 8-12 month healing time and I had to walk out.Maybe fall... I'm not sure I can commit to 8-12 months of religious aftercare.

it's definatl better then nothing.

don't get me wrong... it's not like i'm not soaking it at all... i just have to dab at it with saline and paper products.

but it feels sooooooooooooooo good to have it submerged...

and im not sure how nape piercings look on guys.

Nape is on my To-Do List as well. I was inspired by a sexy boy with an uninfected one at Placebo. They look hot. I wanted to lick it.

I just realized that the two people I know on this site and myself all have a nape piercing... surreal

I used to have surface piercings over my ribs. Bad idea. All around stupid place to get pierced.

I like em, they look good. Do they grow out eventually then, like belly button and eyebrow piercings?

they have a really high rejection rate... but if you take care of them, they'll love you forever and ever.

Ok, so along the same topic, I'm curious about piercing between my breasts. There's a pic of one here. It looks kinda gross there, but I've seen some really good ones in person. Does anybody have one, or know anybody who has one? I'm just looking for comments and input.

ALSO, what does everyone think about the idea of piercing above my pelvis, below my navel, right by my hip bones? If I can find a pic I'll post one. It sounds weird, but all the more reason I'm considering it!
