How important is tattoo placement?

TO me, there are certain areas of the body - especially the female body - that are undeniably sexier than others to place a fine piece of inkwork.

Favorites: around the upper thigh, the ankle, the upper arm, base of the spine, around the belly button, and the secret place - right on the cooch - where the hair used to be.

How about you?

the placement of the tattoo is important to the natural shape of the body example i have a tattoo on my right shin that looks lopsided even though its not due to the muscle structre. plus there are just certain tattoos that you should not get in certain places one girl i used to hang out with had a close up of Jesus's face during the crucifixtion on her lower back not exactly something you want to look at during sex you know?

I think the sexiest, most perfectly placed tattoo I've seen was on a girl's back that I once stood behind in a checkout queue. It was summer, so she was only wearing cut off jeans and a bikini top, and she had leopard spots fanning across her shoulders then tapering as they followed her spine... Absolutely beautiful...
Another really well placed (albeit fake tattoo) was the one on Gina Gershon's hip in Bound.

There's definately a happy medium with tatoos. Sometimes less is more but placement certainly is key in that aspect.

Jessica's tatoo right above her ass where her thong tan line is is a perfect example of a sultry, sexy, well placed tatoo.

That IS the kind of tatoo I would want to stare at during sex that's for sure. Plus it would be a nice surprise that one wouldn't see until sex.

I never thought of placement until I got more than one tattoo. Now I'm starting to think ahead. Like "If I got that here....and this one there...that likd of leaves me with no more room over here"
