I remember going into Goth clubs. In one corner people were dancing, another people were smoking cigarettes and then one more corner people were playing with Barbie dolls but complaining that Barbie's skin wasn't pale enough. Wait a second that never happened! It must have been a dream.

Well someone else had that dream and now they're going to make even more money than Spooky and Missy off of it. Last year a simple suggestion from a 15 year old inspired, his father, Steve Varner to sculpt some...

I'm having trouble with this website. Dang it, I want to see these!
Edit: In case anyone in charge reads this- The website is AWFUL if you don't have a high-speed connection. It's taking me five minutes to load each doll.

Wow. They are such cool dolls!

They're even cooler than the living dead dolls. I have such a silly fascination with dolls.

Ahem.

They are really cool. But the goth community is more so represented than say the punk community. And even more so than the mod community.
Living Dead, Tradgedy Anne and all that lot
So where are the punk dolls? The Tank Girl like dolls and their hodge podge clothing scheme. Where's the Barbie with an up to there pleated skirt, a blazing red mohawk, AND a balled up fist.
And I'd so kill for a set of dolls that look like the Blue Monday gang.

Hmm..must be hard to produce a doll that satisfies the image w/o making it seem like you're making fun of it. I'm not a goth, so I don't know either way. Some people are so sensitive.

Love the Morbida doll, and the Kitty, uh...VooDoo..I love kitties miao!!

Good work my man!

I just saw Steve and Stefan last night on UPN 13's 10 o'clock news talking about these dolls. I didn't even realize they lived in Torrance! That's where I grew up! and where I still live really. Now I HAVE to get one, not only to have one but also to "reprezent" my community!

I've seen those around but never really knew what they were. I figured they were a smaller scale kind of thing. Pretty cool looking. Nice interview.
