I've written about guerrilla media before. Through weblogs, email, and webzines, traditional media have been shaken up. Traditional media have noticed, too, and are even trying to imitate guerrilla media.
Meanwhile journalists -- whether well-known figures like Andrew Sullivan, or comparatively obscure ones like science writer David Appell -- have discovered the power of subscription and donation-based web media. This has led some people to wonder just where the media world is going.
I love that he likes this site. I talked to his wife today, Helen Smith, who is a psychologist and film director, and she said we have a "great little site over there"! Viva la pr0n, viva la Instapundit!
Well I think Reynolds is an amazing pundit, he's calm, sane, rational, thoughtful and never blinded by the politics of left and right. Remember that great college or small radio DJ who would spin the best tracks and give you insightful information about the bands and songs? Think of Glenn Reynolds as the news and commentary equivalent. He's an information jockey, and with his diverse interests and encyclopedic knowledge he'll spin you links all over the web to the most interesting news and writings being published every day.
I also have heard great things about Six, I can't wait to see it.
I'm all about paying for the content you want. Whether it be information or entertainment, on demand content seems to be a reality and I for one couldn't be happier.
