Stop the presses! This June we'll see The Murder Junkies reunite for a tour in honor of the tenth anniversary of GG Allin's death.
I got a chance to talk with the foremost living expert on GG, his brother Merle. Merle is living in New Jersey and for the past few years had been fueling the GG craze with his website, trying to put the band back together and just living life.
Jesus Christ Allin aka GG first came to prominence in the 1980's with the band The Murder Junkies with their groin grinding...

For a good account of the last Murder Junkies tour (which ended a few weeks beofre GG's death) you should pick up "I was a Murder Junkie: The Last Days of GG Allin" by Evan Cohen.
Also, the guitar player from Malpratice (GG's first band, circa '78) is the night watchman at the little amusement park at Mission Bay in San Diego (where Cane's is). He'll talk to you for hours about how Malpractice could play Aerosmith and Stooges covers like nobody's business.
