try to keep from being a lush.
movies you have never seen.

sudden noises
sudden hope
only the wind
only the fucking wind
learning to-
fall in love with silence
and blankets
quiet
you sleep
life away

chaotic cleaning
hermetic meditation
shameless scratching
indulgent decoration
silent musing
musical flatulation

whisky, cigarettes, two fortune cookies

loving parents

Things I did when I was moved to a new city where I knew no one and Anger couldn't join me for a few months:

video rental
cooking gourmet dinners for one
setting the table nicely for yourself and pouring yourself a lovely glass of wine
yoga
books
putting everything in its place
meditation
naked afternoon naps
sketching
writing in journals
playing guitar
learning a few new things on the computer

all alone
late at night

miles davis
with a trumpet

a sense of the limitless

aloneness of humanity

talking to the tv, pets, or yourself (really anything you can convince yourself is listining)
learning to immitate sounds (cause you'll sound like an idiot and thankfully no one is there, i reccomend trying to make dinosaur sounds though this is challenging. try renting jurassic park 1-3 have a marathon, you'll be suprised how close you can sound to a raptor if you try.)
once you've learned the raptor, do it loud and see if your neighbors get scared, if not, keep working on it, you could do better.
