I think both my favorite word to say and my favorite word meaning is "Mondegreen."

A mondegreen is a phrase where you think someone said one thing when they really said something esle.

The whole misheard lyrics website is a tribute to mondegreens, the classic being the Jimi Hendrix "Excuse me while I kiss this guy."

Mondegreen itself comes from a misheard phrase:
"Laid him on the green" was mistaken for "Lady Mondegreen." And a word is born.

My favorite words used to be "pummel and bludgeon" not because I am violent. I just like the rhythm to them and they way they were spelled. I got drunk a few nights ago and couldn't stop saying "vospeetatalneetzya" ( this would work better in Cyrillic) It's Russian for kindergarten teacher...but it's fun to say while drunk.
I know what my all time LEAST favorite words is though- "should". I hate that word.

I don't have a favorite word.. Am I supposed to?? No one told me that.. I use all words, except those that are too big for my little Kentucky brain to comprehend. Thats why I am going to college so I can learn how to pronounce those big words and the definitions of each.
