i fuckin' love legos. they were a great way to escape reality as a kid for hours on end... i still have a few, and i've started buying the lego inspired kubrick toys( they are just figures, though... no building blocks). they even have a sid vicious!

One of the lesbians next door to me had a strict military upbringing, and every gift-associated holiday she'd ask for legos, but she never would receive any from her parents. Now everyone goes out of their way to make sure she gets cool legos or lego bootlegs for her birthday. i just picked her up a gigantic mega-bloks submarine since she turns 25 this wednesday.

i've been checking out this custom lego site: foundrydx.com for a while now, and i want to get something from them, but everything is so expensive. they have detailed models of gundams, valkyries, and other anime mecha.

Good to know I'm not the only one here... I have a drawer completely full of Lego and I don't think I'll ever outgrow the stuff. I also have some of the old space sets, like the Galaxy Commander. Those are the GREATEST!

I blew a hundred bucks on the AT-AT, and I'm not even into Star Wars. I had a non-Lego AT-AT as a kid though, and from the time I was 7 I thought "How awesome would it be to have one of these in LEGO!!!"

What can I say, sometimes it's good to be in touch with your inner child smile

I love how you americans are calling it "LEGOS". It's Lego, like in sheep, there's no plural! Or at least not here, or anywhere else surreal

I had one of those non-Lego AT-ATs too. My parents didn't want a dog running around the house so that was my pet substitute, they called it a "Plastic Puppy". Sad, I know
