Ok this thread is just for all the cool hidden shit in X2. If you have not seen the movie skip this thread!

I caugt Hank McCoy as a talking head on one of the TV's.

Remy LeBeau's name was right above Eric Lesshner's on the computer that mystique was hacking into.

We all heard Jubilee's name called amoungst the 6 captured students.

We saw Kitty fall threough the floor.

We saw Colossus kicking ass.

Saryin's bit was a riot.

Was the kid flicking stations with his blinking Doug Ramsey?

Who was the kid with the tongue?

Who was the girl in Xavier's illusion?

And did bobby drake have a brother in the comics?
I know I missed a ton so that's why this thread is here, so we can look for the rest when we see it again.

The kid with the toungue and the girl imagined by Xavier were made-up characters. So too was theBlinking kid.

when i did collect super hero comics
x-men were my fave and reading the comics watching the cartoons and movies.

x men the movie is almost nothing like the comic book only the names are the same. glad i waited to rent the movie what a crappy money train movie complete let down.

x-men the cartoons are more faithful to the comic book.

p.s. the x men gear looks like s&m fashion victims tongue

I just got home from seeing it and I have to say that was one of the best movies I've seen in a while. It propably helps that I'm a geek who still collects x-men comics. But that aside it think it's well worth seeing. smile

saw X2 last nite and in my humble fanboy opinion it ws the dog's bollocks.

shall be going again...

Nightcrawler kicks ass in this movie, Wolvie's the man, and Phoenix is all set up for X3. Supoib.

Roll on Hulk, LXG, T3, Matrix, etc etc. And the new Judge Dredd stuff, a way off yet but fingers crossed I've got work on the fucker...

begin the reaming, but I always liked the Judge Dred movie. yes it ws stupid, but I think there was some serious design skill oging on with some of the stuff in there. I openly tell people I think this movie is trash, but in the same sentence I tell them I think they should see it.
-I Reallly liked X2, and I hate alot of movies. It was way better than the first one, really. On another note, the Hulk looks like it could be a fun movie, but I'm not feelign the love, I think I might just be being an effects perfectionist, though, there's some fish looking stuff in that trailer.

Also, back to X-men for a second, there's no way I'll ever be really happy with this series until I see Juggernaut, and hopefull not a cg character, but just a guy with his little face sticking out of a HUGE fucking suit.
-Really, don't read this if you care about not having seen the movie yet:
(ediit, I guess this question was answered already abovesmile
did I see a pheonix in the reflection in the water at the end of the movie, or is that just a tiny bit of nerd seeping out of me and making things up?

Why hasn't anyone mentioned Phoenix?!?!! Was it too obvious? Just the slight image of the flamebird going through the water at the end...fuckin' great. And I can't believe Wolverine killed Lady Deathstrike! she would have been a great character to bring back...I thought the kid with the glasses and the blinking was Artie; They made him human because they probably didn't want to have to explain why there are also aliens. It takes away from the "mystique" of being a mutant. Colossus sounded like he was from Kansas, which was a letdown, but that's just a detail. Overall, I was impressed.

I'm pissed that Colossus was only in it for a total of two minutes, and only metal for about 30 seconds.. what the fuck.

And regarding Mystique as Nightcrawler's mother... I heard some discussions after the film that she was too young to be his mother. If they do choose to include that storyline in subsequent movies, make note that Mystique can turn into any form she wants, be it young or old, so we really can't determine her age.. she could well be old enough to be Nightcrawler's mother, or even older... She just chooses a young nubile form for all the fanboys to drool at.

And if they do make a 3rd film, they made it aboundantly clear what it will be about... Let's just say we haven't seen the last of Jean Grey... I know I'm not the only one that caught the image of the Phoenix under the ocean waves. robot

Damn loved this movie because I was such an xman geek. This hopefully will be a long and fruitful series with many offshoots. I want to see juggernaut too and the brotherhood of evil mutants with emma frost yeow! Not to mention blob and pyro wrecking havoc together.

Remy where were you ah well maybe next movie? and when the hell will rougue change into a southern drawling super flying vixen. I wonder if they will make her steal captain marvels psyche/powers in the next movie or will she always be a wimp. I missed sabertooth he was the coolest next to magneto in the last movie. in this film " come here Runt!"

yeah phoenix will rise again. I remember Artie, he and leech were buds right leech was green sorta had powers like rougue but from a distance and Artie could project images if I remember but couldnt talk.

So I was thinking maybe that artie was the wheel chair dude who made illusions buit now just in your head. Or was he a made up for the movie character? I cant recall a character like exactly him. Legion was Xavier's son seemed sorta close because he was a vegetable right?

Think that a spiderman ice man and firestar movie would be cool?

When mystique was in bar as the hooker I was wishing that dazzler ws in the movie. And I am sad Rogue took the palce of kittie pride/ or for that matter even jubilee) as Wolverines young tag along.

want to see more new mutants like sunspot, cannonball, boom boom, and so forth

The only thing cool about the Disco Dazzler is that she's Longshot's woman,

Artie could project his mental images as visible pictures that anyone else could see. Okay, so I'm a geek too.

I'm going to see this movie tomorrow. I was so excited to find out that it was even here already. Most American movies don't make it here until about a month after they're released in the States.

having spent an hour going through me brother's Xmen DK book I reckon I've found another couple of cameos/links. The young girl who screams the house down when the troops come in the windows could be Cyren, daughter of Banshee in the comix. The kid in the wheelchair who creates the illusions seems like a composite character to me: Mastermind in the comics - Jason Wyngarde - can create these kind of full illusions and this film char is called Jason at least once. I was convinced the Stryker character was one I'd seen before in the Xmen books but I'm buggered if I can find it now.

Fanboy alert! smile
