I've never really thought about it. But I'm pretty extroverted and I rarely give a crap about what others think about me so i make friends pretty easily.

Just normal stuff really...

Telephoto lenses can are a godsend; bushes provide great cover. You can really get to know a lot about a person by the sound of their voice...let them do the talking (I always hang up the phone without talking at all...don't want to "hijack" the conversation). Find out where they work and play. Delve into public records. All this can only impress them when it's finally time to contact them and make your move (and that time will come...oh yes...)
