Does anyone know what the proper length would be for a stud for a healed labret piercing? (It's 12 gauge, if it matters.)

I still have the one I got the piercing with - it fit fine when my lip was still swollen but now it's so long that it's either sticking way out or I'm biting it.

There's probably no "set" proper length as everyone's anatomy is different.

I would suggest going to your piercer and saying you'd like to get a new stud now that you're all healed and done swelling.

They'll help you out, no problem.
