i think this is the place to mention lost photo sites, you know where people just collect photos they find on the street and post them online and make up stories about them
i dont know if anyones ever seen league of gentlemen or knows of the fellows in it but they used to collect passport sized pictures of people they found in the street and create whole lives for them
When I lived in Pittsburgh, a friend and I used to dumpster dive behind Walnut Street looking for supplies for outr sculpture projects. One particular night we had scored some pretty decent display racks so we decided to call it a night and head home without digging throuh the remaining three dumpsters.
The next morning I was watching the news and one of the merchants had found a dead woman in one of the last three dumpsters.
I was pretty happy that I did't find it. Yuckorama.

But think of the great sculpture you could have made!
How did you know she was my mom? You don't even know who I am...that was quite an assumption to make...jumping from finding a "mom" to assuming it was mine...

this wasn't in california, was it? i lost a quarter bag at a denny's a few years back, and i always wondered what became of it. if you did find it, i hope you enjoyed it...
my cousin/roommate, while out skating, once found a large paper sack filled with vintage star wars figures, including a speeder bike and a wampa still in the box. we think that someone made a large purchase at a vintage toystore downtown and left it on the roof of their car or something.
