Sandwiches; they're good aren't they? Yes. They sure are. What is your favourite sandwich of all time? What do you think the zenith of sandwichy goodness is?

I think:
- Turkish bread, untoasted
- Sundried tomato pesto
- Honey-baked ham
- Sun-dried tomatoes, chopped
- Jalapenos
- A bit of Tabasco
- A slice or two of Jarlsberg cheese, with a few shavings of Parmesan.
- Lettuce
- Alfalfa Sprouts

Yes it is weird but I adore the shit. Blow my minds with your sandwiches.

this is what I'd make:

-a nice steak grilled medium
-on calabrese bread, toasted and lightly buttered with a garlic spread
-topped with mushrooms and onions sauteed in a nice beaujolais wine
-served with either a hot sauce, or lime majo

I'd probably also cook up some hot peppers to add and possibly some red peppers.

mmmmmmmmmmmmm biggrin

There's a sandwich place that makes "Capastrami," which is hot pastrami, swiss cheese, cole slaw, and Russian dressing. They're seriously addictive.

Phillipe's is alright, but I am more a Johnny's Pastrami fan (Mar Vista in west LA)...

here, I love the classic breakfast roll...sausages, rashers, black pudding, white pudding, grilled mushrooms, egg friend hard, hash browns, red or brown sauce...nothing better for a morning cure...

i dont like lunch meat and im not a big fan of bread. the only cheese i like is string cheese or cheese if its melted. if i eat lunch meat its only salami or turkey and id rather eat it by itself. i know im strange.

The perfect sandwich is the humble bacon sandwich. And a toasted ham and extra mature chedder sandwich is pretty bloody good too.
