i actually came to the sad realization that everythig i've done since birth just had the earmarks of being a lonley outcast from society...
from my love of star wars (but not star trek.. gak!), to me always wanting my friends to be robots, to later me wanting to have sex with an uber sexy robot (that didn't come till the late teens), to the hours and hours i spend with computers and computer gaming systems, all the comics and books i've read (i.e: hitch hikers guide to the galaxy, LotR before the movie, lots of cyber punk fiction),my love of industrial and synth pop music (which was about as dorky as wearing horn rimmed glasses and pleated pants were i went to school) and anything that had bleeps and blips such as gary numan and kraftwerk, my need of wearing glasses, and how i prefer contact with machines more than with carbon based lifeforms.ket's also not forget my forays into playing shadowrun, DnD, and vampire the masquerade. and my love for all things RPG on console games
myself and two friends had to live in our van for three days in the rain because it broke down in crescent city ca. we were about to finally get going after freezing our soggy asses off when a local informed me that the "Ewok" redwoods were right up the street. i threw a fit like a five year old and almost didnt get back in the van when my travelling companions wouldnt let me go see the damn ewok forest. thats deep emotional geekdom.

Geek and proud. I work in IT, have toys on top of my monitor, read comics, into sci-fi and all the usual shit, (I.E. star wars, firefly, buffy, angel,) I still own 2 skateboards (considered more geeky in the UK,) and I could go on but I won't.
