God, where to start? I hope I at least can end this before midnight...

Lesa-- the first thing I thought when I saw the post's name was "Banana Splits". I believe you misspelled New Zoo Revue. You see, a "revue" is a musical show, and it's quite an unusual thing/ the animals talk and sing/ with Doug and Emmy Jo/ every day's a different show. Did you see the episode where either Charlie or Freddie got hooks on drugs? No lie. I think it was Charlie, taking uppers to study, but it might have been Freddie. I swear this is true.
PervyPunk- Oh god, Marine Boy was my first male crush! I said it was Tintin the other day; no, it was Marine Boy. How could I forget??
nobody - Yeah, Krofft Superstars had Sigmund, Land of the Lost, and that thing with Chuck McCann and Bob Denver...Far-out Space Nuts?
Aanyankah - I was in London 1975-78 so I saw It's a Knockout....plus Monty Python, The Goodies, and Doctor Who contributed to how weird I am today. I'm not joking, it's true. There was an art show for kids, Vision On, that was also pretty psychedelic. And Swap Shop, a show where people traded toys/stuff over the phone. It was the first Ebay! Other Brit shows-- Playschool, Ivor the Engine (promoter of Welsh nationalism; that's what my brother said, anyway. Cherry would know...), Paddington, Rhubarb (the green dog), Emu Broadcasting Company, Basil Brush (sorta a fox-puppet version of Austin Powers).
franchise - Star Blazers, yeah that was pretty freaky. Tennesee Tuxedo! There's an episode I saw a couple years ago, it would make the BEST SOUNDBITE EVER for a indie-label record. Tennessee and Chumley were recording a record, and Tennessee explained how you made a hit record-- you got a big label to put it out and promote it. The song they did kicked ass in a Vaudeville way.

As for Hong Kong Phooey, I had a lunchbox of him...and I had a Fat Albert kite, let's not forget Albert....which brings me to the next question, what other merchandise did you guys have of your favorite shows?

Mr. Wizard!!!

now that i think about it, the idea is kinda creepy. weird old man inviting random kids over to his house to "teach them about science..." wink wink. and he downright tortured some of those kids. i remember one in particular when he made this kid like strip down and get into this tub of freezing cold water outside in like january to teach him about displacement...

Yo homey's where's the props to local cartoon god Ramblin Rod? My Hanna Barbara indoctrination would have been woefully inadequate without the guidence of master Rod.

Your fiancee is crazy... Isn't that the show where one of the main bad guys carried his head in his arm? I think it was done by Go Nagai.

An 80's primetime show I remember but have never known the name is one where there was an alien of some sort that was exiled to earth for war crimes. All I really remeber about the show is that he had kind of a floating eyeball companion and that he had a trashbag full of money he robbed from an ATM. I don't think I'm crazy and made this up, but maybe it was just a pilot or only on for a couple of episodes?
