Sesame Street
Donny and Marie
Happy Days
Josie and the Pussycats
Laverne & Shirley
The Muppet Show
New Zoo Review
Sonny and Cher
Looney Tunes
The Shmoo/PlasticMan Hour
Carol Burnett
The Brady Bunch

Who had a local cartoon host?

SF had Charlie & Humphrey on channel 2 then Captain Cosmic later on. Channel 44 had Dr. Don. You could watch Cap'n Mitch on the Sacramento station and later in the 80's Channel 20 had Maestro Dick (who kids always called Micro Dick).

Who was your cartoon guy?

...on saturday morning at 8:30am it all began. Id take my sesame street sleeping bag (which i still have) down to the den and lay it on the good chair ottoman. id unzip it down the side, get in, then zip it up. my mom would bring me cereal refills and change the channel for me (this was pre-remote control) so that i wouldnt have to untuck.
