My So-Called Life was the best high school my-life-is-confusing-and-sucks show that was ever made. I've been watching the DVDs all week and am so f*ckin glad I'm not a sophmore anymore...And it helps that Rayanne is hotter then hell.

im a total MSCL junkie.
i got the DVDs last november, the episode "self esteem" still breaks my heart.
Ok, is it me or does *Hallie Lowenthal* (the woman from angela's dad cooking class) look like a female version of Conan O'Brien?

Favorite character is def Angela and i love rayanne too.
Songs the show made me fall in love with are:
juliana hatfield - make it home
buffalo tom - late at night x2
and of course bilster in the sun. that scene is the best ever !!

Even ignoring the nostalgia factor...

This was a really great fucking show. I'm watching it again on The N. The writing is so sharp and the characterization so thorough and and with complete signature style. And Ricky is my all time favorite gay tv character.
