Lenore has a very excellent point as well....
Just because some people have a preference doesn't mean they totally exclude people who aren't fitting into whatever that preference is.
I could probably figure up what my "type" is...but if I went through all the girls I have dated, not even the majority would fit into that.
I date who I am attracted to physically and personality wise.

I second (or third or fourth) both parts of that.
Of course having a preference for a particular skin color is somewhat shallow, like all physical judgements. However, some physical preference is almost unavoidable. Also, cool people (like on this site) may have preferences, but in the end personality trumps appearance.
I mean, wouldn't a happy girl with uniformly-colored hair still get you hot, if she was the right girl?

I understand what you are saying, but I'm not going to hold it against you because your profile only mentions an attraction to women. Does that mean you aren't attracted to men? Should I take it personally? Its hard to tell from a brief profile.
Oh and you are very lovely and too young for me to even dream about.

umm nope, I'm definitely bisexual. It all depends on what I'm feeling, and what were are feeling together. Mostly I just have friends though.

you're beautiful i also hate it when people like that shit, or they say that anything other than that really isn't their style. it's subtle racism, and it sucks. far too many women that are not honkish are fucking exquisite to say something like that. you're one of them.

Actually it wasnt your jounal that I was looking at, and thanks for your comments but I was just stating an opinion, a mere thought in the cesspool that is my ever simmering brain.
It is not I who will be dissapointed cash, it will be folks who close doors and insult people that they dont know. My doors are eternally open, except of course to people that slam them in my face by having predisposed notions of what specific sort of person they choose to surround themselves with..

Since I am one the guilty parties (having listed a placid skin color as turn-on) I ]i]WAS going to apologize...
But then I saw your profile picture.
And I realized, "Hey, waitaminute! This girl is beautiful! Why should I apologize for being closed-minded about attraction to some girl who wouldn't give me the time of day? SHEE-YEAH!"

I do understand where you're coming from. It can be a tad discouraging when it seems like everyone prefers something that you aren't...I've noticed that most girls around here tend to favor a specific kind of guy, and it can very discouraging for a guy that doesn't fit that description (if said insecure boy lets it get to him)...
But then it's also easy to forget that people arent robots...very few people have such a programmed mentality that they refuse to acknowledge that can be attracted to anything outside of their laundry list of physical ideals. I for one find myself very attracted to many differemt types of women, and rarely would I limit my attraction to any one partiular thing (with the possible exception of style...I cant get into someone with terrible style...)
I do enjoy fair skin...but hey, Im pastier than fucking Casper myself...so maybe it's a matter or relation...but truth be told, I have been very interested in meeting someone of a different nationality...I've have never had the opportunity to date anything but caucasions.
So there ya go...now you damn pretty people better stop bitchin' already...

And to get pissed because a few people put that they like a certain ethnicity over another in their profile.....well, all it's going to do is get you flustered over something that's not worth spending your time on.
Like Edea said, if ask what my ideal woman was.....I probably wouldn't describe Nala. But I'll be damned if I wouldn't fall to my knees at the mere sight of her. She's beautiful beyond description.
Me personally, I like ALL kinds of women. I know what type i lean towards, but when it comes to physical appearance, I don't discriminate....if you're hot, you're hot.

Anyway, I"m sorry for Brooklene who has taken offense to the skin color preference in their profile. I don't think that the purpose of that answer to the skin color question is to offend people or limit or close doors. It's just a question of preference.
Sure a person judges another or thinks som. about them, you HAVE to have some sort of opinion or change of it when you see their likes and dislikes. But that's just the way it is.
Me for one, if I had to answer, I'd prob. say light skin and blue eyes. That's my male preference. Doesn't mean I dislike black guys, or Indians,, Mex. whatever...it all just depends on the person. It doesn't LIMIT ME TO who I meet or date...it's just a preference......Everyone has a preference. Some people like small tits, some like large, blonde, to black, to pale to tan. So try not to take offense, I try not to, I read many many likes that don't match my description...big deal...doesn't mean they Dislike me, and one of the girls LILA I think, stated that they comments on my sets should be obvious to back up whatever ones preference is, they can still like others.
and I read this entire thread and thought that everyone was well justified in the things that they said, the way that they said it, and another thank you for reading and typing and not just sitting there and picking your nose.
