the awesome thing about wolverine is that he doesn't have the most dangerous mutant powers, but he has the guts and determination to fight and beat people who should be out of his league. it makes him the perpetual underdog, and that rules.

theres a watcher/alt timeline where he takes on galacticus...

have you seen what she's like now? Seriously Shadowkat can now phase her sword thru people's armor just so she can hit their soft tissue, now if only they could find a way to make Wolvy's second sidekick useful in any way shape or form. *looks down in shame at Jubilee

Oh my god, do NOT suggest that that was an imposter. All that Magneto shit in Excalibur after Morrison's run does NOT exist.

Nightcrawler is awesome.

Actual X-Men: I'm a fan of the popular choices of Nightcrawler and the Beast. Bouncy blue furry people are nifty.

However, my favortie X-affiliated character was actually a New Mutant.

Much love for Warlock.

Forget Excaliber, Charly X had a nice conversation w/ Magneto a little while ago. After his "funeral". Besides, just wait till "The House of M" series starts this summer. Magneto most definatively did not get decapitated by Wolverine in New X-Men # 150 wink

p.s. Mags is my favorite baddie smile

I know he's back, but really, it spoils the whole point of Morrison's run, which was that 60s Cold War inspired over the top villians don't really have a place in the world anymore. But, eh, I stopped buying it as soon as he stopped writing it, so what do I care? wink

Wolverine-obvious reasons mentioned but worth mentioning. I like the whole tragedy he goes through but still put's up the good fight.

Nightcrawler-one of the more complex and interesting characters of the X-men. He's perhaps more of Prof. X's idea, a demonic looking being that serves God and cares for others.

Magneto-one of if not the best villians of the Marvel Universe. Mainly for the fact that he's a bad guy with a good cause.

Precicely why I love him. And the fact that his power is fucking kickass! He doesn't need any "extra iron" like in the movies. He can make you brain dead or wipe out your short-term memory just by using the existing iron in your blood. love
