The headline hopefully reads POLANSKI IS BACK. The Pianist is a masterpiece. Normally a writer might say that he has returned to form but Polanski has never done a film like The Pianist before. Thought he story is based on the true story of the talented pianist Wladyslaw Szpilman [played by Adrien Brody], a Polish Jew, who avoided being deported to a Nazi death camp during World War II by hiding in the ruins of Warsaw. it might as well be about Polanski himself who avoided the Nazis by the use of a wax foreskin. I didnt know if I should reply to this or make a completely new topic, but there is a mistake in this interview.


Towards the end of the interview(6 questions from the bottom or so) the questions are asked:

DE: Did you shott THE PIANIST in Warsaw where the events took place?

RP: Unfortunately, nothing remains.......

DE: Could you tell us about your contact with Mr. Szpilman? Did you talk about the film, and if so what were his suggestions?

RP: Mr. Szpilman didn't make...

Then the exact questions and answers are repeated at the very end of the interview.

I dont know if anyone is aware of it, but I thought I would bring it up just in case.
